Her parents lived in India until she was born but they moved to England to escape persecution.

She's an OC that I came up with after watching Slumdog Millionaire for the second time, and I love Ballywood, and other Middle Eastern influenced stuff...

I've also been listening to the soundtrack, and she is named after my favorite song, "Jai Ho".
